Important Information Regarding Winter Stays

Weather-Related Closures:

Our top priority is your safety and comfort. In the event of severe weather conditions, we may have to temporarily close our off-grid cabins for the safety of our guests and staff. Please understand that extreme winter weather, such as heavy snowfall or icy conditions, can impact access to our cabins. We appreciate your understanding if we need to postpone or reschedule your reservation due to weather-related concerns.

Road Conditions and Cabin Locations:

As our off-grid winter cabins offer a unique and secluded experience, please be aware that road conditions and path maintenance may be affected by inclement weather. The road leading to our cabins was originally designed for summer use when this area was a campground and is regularly cleared, but it can still become icy and snow-covered in winter, potentially affecting accessibility.

Unpredictable Weather:

Nature's unpredictability is part of the charm of an off-grid winter experience. While we do our best to clear paths to the cabins, please be aware that the weather can cause some challenges. Snowfall and freezing temperatures can change rapidly, affecting access and cabin conditions. We encourage guests to stay updated on local weather forecasts and travel advisories and to plan their trips with flexibility in mind. Some cabins are situated approximately 400 feet from the main washroom facility, and during inclement weather, path maintenance may be challenging.

Flexibility and Communication:

We are committed to providing you with the best possible winter getaway experience, combining the adventurous spirit of camping with the luxury of our off-grid cabins, complete with propane heaters. If you have concerns about the weather or road conditions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We can discuss options such as rescheduling or providing additional information to help you plan your stay. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation when dealing with Mother Nature's surprises. Embrace the camping vibes and enjoy a winter escape!
